The Variable Gate Metering Insert uses a hinged gate to create an upstream head.  Together, the gate position and head determine the flow rate.  To give you maximum accuracy, the flow meter automatically adjusts the gate position in response to changing flow rates.

        The upstream head is accurately measured with a bubbler system.  Automatic gate flush and bubble line purge reduce maintenance for long-term dependability.
